i was watching a whitetail show on the outdoor channel, and they put a camera on a buck and we will be able to watch everything the deer does!

I believe they're working on putting it on several free ranging deer.
I don't know about you guys, but I think this is gonna be totally addictive to watch! When he's bedded, I'm gonna want to see when he gets up, where does he go first, what does he eat, when does he hook up with other deer, is he gonnafight/mate today. It's never gonna end! |

I actually just wrote them an email telling them about the angle, mature bucks aren't looking at the dirt, they are usually always scanning......... What the heck am I telling you guys what mature bucks do, you konw. Yeah, anywayI just sent them an email telling them to get the angle higher, then I'd be a subscriber. I really want to see them actively making decisions on terrain, activity in relation to moon cycles and weather, etc. Alot of theories could be either proved or disproved by this.

I wish we had that channel here in New Zealand as it would be quite interesting, a little expensive though. That will keep poachers wondering if they are going to end up AMW.

I might consider it (24.95), if I can get it from Oct. 20th - Nov. 20th. That is really the only time of the year it would be worth it for me. Does it have night vision? I doubt it.

The following is an email interaction I had with deerchannel concerning camera angles.
To whom it may concern, First off, excellent idea!! Secondly, I watched the previews and I am really interested in you product, however one thing is stopping me. As an avid hunter, I know that mature bucks are always scanning out in the distance, determining their next course of action based upon an infinitesimal amount of factors, not looking at the ground. It seems that on the preview at least, all I saw was the deer shadow, deer nose, and another deers behind. I was not able to see how the buck decided on its course of action and behavior based upon terrain, and other said and unsaid factors. Otherwise, awesome and genius product. If the camera is up and I can see where the deer is going, I am all in. Thanks for putting something like this together. A pay per, nope not for me then either. I saw a preview on American Whitetail tonight, interesting, it would be nice to check from time to time but not for a cost.
