Tick Tock, Tick Tock....
The clock is ticking and I CAN NOT TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!! I wanna hunt NOW!!!! Man this is like waiting for your firstborn son to be born. I am eating, sleeping, thinking, concentrating on, Not concentrating on, and literally obsessing over the opening day here. Come on OCT. 1 !!!!
Sorry guys, just had to vent a little. I'm feelin little like Tickle Me Elmo in a micrwave right now. Bout to blow a fuse.

Mine opener is the same TomKat. I also cannot stop thinking about hunting. I sometimes cant sleep cuz i am constantly thinking about going hunting and seeing a huge mainbeam 10 pointer walk down my trail 15 yards broadside from my stand an waatching the fletchings of my goldtip xt hunter arrow seemingly slip between the hairs behind the shoulder of him and see it sticking out of the ground as he makes his last run before ending up into my freezer. Hey i can dream cant i

Sorry guys, not trying to be mean but down here in New Zealand we don't have a season. Only one species of deer has a season in only one area but you can hunt them elsewhere and we can shoot as many species as we like and however many of each species we like and we don't have tags to buy. Its just a matter of going out and shooting them.

My opening day is also on September 30th and I forgot and told a friend I would help him with a catering job. What was I thinking!! Maybe I will be able to get out that evening and bring in a big one with the odor of fresh smoked briskett and ribs? Maybe!!
