Default Elkcrazy scores!!!!

Well, The deed is done, I held out on alot of bulls already this year in hopes of taking the big one I was after. I decided to let one fly. It was a 30 yard shot with a 60 yard recovery. I am happy with my decision....

Nice elk, I sure wish I could go elk hunting. Are there any states that still sale elk tags over the counter?

Good job and nice pic! I hope to return to Colorado or go to Idaho and get my first elk next year. Please post in the Annual Broadhead Harvest poll please.

I will post in the broadhead colum. I have 3 kills this year with 2 different types. The Montec that I shot this bull with looks like it just came out of the package after blasting through ribs on each side and both lungs.

Idaho sells over the counter tags still.

Chad congrats, I myself am still holding out for a big to nice bull, Ihave seen many elk so far and have passed a lot of cows and several small bulls. I still have a week and a half to hunt towards the end of the season. During the first three days we were into manyherds of cows with spikes. On the third dayone of my twopartners couldn't take it anymore and decided to take a cow. Its his first archery elk so we were all excited for him. The tender loins sure did taste good in the duch oven that night!
