Thanks to the hunter that asked permission to hunt my grandfather's land. Not only did you ask, but you harvested a deer, and after the deer was processed, stopped back out to give my grandfather a handful of steaks. He not only appreciated it, but is now bragging to his buddies and family about the great bowhunter he met.

Names and states aren't important. What is, is this hunter is doing what we all should. Sometimes life gets in the way, and it's easy to forget the landowner after the harvest, but the look on my grandfather's face when he talked about this bowhunter and his thoughfulness was priceless. I know I'll never forget to show my thanks again.

I try to keep a Good Hunter/Landowner Relationship Last week I went over and gave them some Moose Steak, Roast and Burger. Yesterday I went over to see if they needed any help around the Farm and noticed that they don't own an Atv. I offered my ATV and my services to help pull Logs from the bush for fire wood. The land owner usually does it by hand and wheelbarrow.

Also to you littleal, I'm sure whether he accepts your help or not he'll remember you offered...

I hunt on relatives property and I have often tried to offer my help but they'll never accept it. To show my apprieciation, I ususally go buy them a ham or turkey for the holidays...

BUY them a turkey or ham??? I can hear the ribbing starting now....(LOL)
