I try nearly every year. I look too goofy though and I just like being clean shaven. Maybe this year though.....

I Always grow a beard for deer season, and most other seasons also.

Usually I let it flourish around the week of Thanksgiving so my face will be a bit warmer for gun season, or earlier if it gets cold in bow season. No other reason 'cept that.
I look like a bum all year cause I hate to shave but I never really let it get to the beard stage till it gets cold out.
Nothing colder than freezing temps on a fresh shaved face.

Ya....I grew one back in 1970. Uhhh, I guess I forgot to shave it off after I killed my buck......still got it.
