Default Stabilizer Recommendations Needed

I looking to purchase a new stabilizer. What is everyone using and why? My bows balance and feel is good, I'm just looking to soak up a little more sound vibration. It's use is primarily for hunting. Any Recommendations?

Thanks Again, Ron

No question about it...the cheapie ($15) S-Coil from Limbsaver is AWESOME!
All right...it STINKS coming out of the package....but that's easy to fix. Simpy wrap it in an earth-scent dryer sheet, or put it in some tupperware with an earth-scent wafer, or just bury it in the back yard! Either of these for about 24-48 hours will get rid of the "rubber" scent.
Once that's gone, you still have the fact that it's"
1. Cheap
2. Light
3. Very Effective!
Good luck!

There are many good ones on the market, but I personally recommend the Fuse Axium or the Simms S-Coil. Both deaden noise quite effectively.

Mobow......Don't you think that based on the price, the S-Coil would win that duel? I paid $15 for mine and after 2 days in the dirt, it's awesome!!
More expesive does NOT necessarily mean better!
Good luck everyone!

i shoot the S-Coil as well and i notice a decrease of noise and vibration. And it is fairly cheap like tarheel said.

Tarheel, there is no question the S-Coil is a very, very good stabilizer. But to answer your question specifically, no, I say the Axium is better. I personally like the little bit of added weight, and IMHO it does make the bow a tad quieter than the Simms. But if you're going on price, yes, the Simms wins.

Personally I'm siding with mobow, I have the Fuse Axium in 10" on my Allegiance,

formerly using the 12" SuperStix on my Hoyts....
