Close one Man Glad your ok!!! I have had a couple of close calls but never fell and I want to keep it that way!! Always where a harness!!!

i never have used screwins i like my climbing sticks i also us my viper 80% of the time

I'll be wearing a harness every time I climb. I hunt with a Trophyline ambush saddle which has a built in climbing belt. That thing works great for hanging fixed position stands as well. I used it this weekend to hang a few stands and it worked awesome.

When climbing, always maintain 3 points of contact at all times. That way if a foot slips you won't fall.
