Default scent

what can i do for my scent blocker clothes that have been in my garage all summer. Do i just wash them with the scent blocker detergent and then keep them in a plastic bag until the season starts or what. I dont want to go out smelling like my garage. also does putthing the carbon clothes into the dryer reactivate it?

Thanks

What you suggest makes sense to me. Wash them is scent eliminating/scent free detergent and store away in a sealed scent free container.
As far as reactivating through the dryer I have my doubts. I believe that it could eliminate some scent, but there are those that would argue, based on someresearch that you would need to heat/dry your carbon suits up to something like around 300 degress for scents particles to be fully released from the carbon.

I usually wash the clothes that i am going to use and activate the carbon scent blocker jacket in the dryer, then I hang them out side forday or 2 to get some natural scent to them, then i put them in garbage bag under my deck for another 2-3 days with some scent waffers, and spray some cover scent in the bag, then before the season I put my stuff in a scent blocker bag.

Storing your scent blocker suit w any kind of scent wafers or pine boughs etc is not a good idea. The carbon begins to adsorb those scents as well rendering it less effective later. Store your scent blocker suit scent-free in a plastic bag, like zip-loc makes some XL bags now. The company clains they will re-activate after 30min in the dryer at high

Use the dryers at laundromats. They get much hotter.
Keep scent wafers away from Scent Lok....that definitely makes it less effective. Use either/or, but not both.
I have a Scent Lok bag (not plastic - cloth)....I put all my Scent Lok gear (BaseLayers, coverall, head-cover, gloves, and socks) inside the bag and NUKE IT at the laundromat for 30 minutes.
When I take it out, I can barely hold on to it.
Then it goes into a rubbermaid container with some baking soda sprinkled in it.
Good to go!
