How many arrows do you carry into the field?
 

Depending on the area I am hunting. I carry 3 loaded shafts or I carry two, for which I have a 2-shaft quiver.

The limited number of shafts available forces me to be absolutely on top of the shot I am to make, and whether I want to bag a particular deer for the 2 deer quota I am allowed.

3 brand new shafts and 3 brand new broadheads exactly the same as the ones I practice with but never fired.

I usually carry 4 w/broadheads and 1-2 w/judo points for small game hunting. Have only ever used 2 at one sitting at which I got 2 deer.

Whe I started bowhunting&lt; i just filled my quiver, which held 6, never used more than 2 so now I just carry 3

I take 4. 3 with broadheads, and 1 with a judo point. I usually shoot the judo point at something before getting down (practice).

I usually carry 3 arrows, except later in the season when I sit all day long then I take 4-5 with me.

I carry 3 with broadheads and 1 with a judo. I usually fire 1 broadhead soon after I get set up for practice. I'm always worried I've knocked something askew in transit. Haven't yet but if I do, I'll be ready! As for the judo, I'm 3 for 4 with the bushytails and tagged a nice rabbit! Maybe I should carry 3 judo and 1 broadhead!LOL

Three in an Alpine Archery Soft-Loc, take it off at stand, works better than anything I have used.

5 right now 2 of them are tiped with steelforce 100 and the other 3 are shockwaves 100.


Chef#1 great idea, one to throw out for the deer. I have gotten stuck in my stand twice so far this year. I just might have to try something like that. THanks for the idea.

I carry 5...3 new blade broadheads, 1 dull blade broadhead arrow (for small critters) and 1 judo for small critters or whatever else I feel like shooting at...I like to shoot at a lot of different stuff....

For whitetail, either 2 or 3 with broadheads.

I'm going to squirrel hunt for the first time in a week or two. I'll carry 6 or 7 cedar arrows for that adventure.

I carry three. When I get set up in my stand I shoot one at what I think is twenty yards(that is my practice distance) When I hit what I'm aiming at I know my sights are still in and didn't get bumped.

That leaves me 2 arrows. One for the shot, and one for a follow up if necessary.

4 - 5 at all times, a hunting friend took 3 shots this weekend and believe it or not did not hit til the 3rd arrow. He use to only carry 3, I think that will change now.
