i shoot 29 in draw lenght and at 65 lbs switchback xt

I think you'll be jusr fine as long as the spine is correct. However, I have had very good luck with Gold Tips

Better for what? I think that I have to say it's a toss-up between Gold Tip and Maxima. Although I've shot Easton arrows, aluminum and carbon alike I'd have to say that their carbons are mediocre at best. Aluminum is good if you have an arrow straightener (I do and used them for years). The one acception, which isn't a choice is the ACC's, possibly one of the finest arrows ever made for all round use.

FMJ might be OK, and I'd try them if they ever make one light enough for my tastes. Speedwise I'm just not going to give up what it's taken 20 years to gain. I'm more of an accuracy kind of guy instead of Kinetic Energy.

I shoot the full metal jackets. They are a good arrow but nothing special.

I shoot radial X-Weave 300's, Have had no problems with them.
