String Loop yes or no?

I have seen some recent articles and commentaries that say string loops have morePROS then CONS. What do you all think about them? I am using a Cobra caliper release if that matters.

I've been shooting one for some time now and I don't know any down side to them.

I use an Ultra Nock. Dont have to worry about it comming untied or loop breakage.

I clicked doesn't matter. This is my very first one on my new Allegiance. I've always shot longer ATA bows. All my previous Hoyts have been in the 36" range. I think they have a place in the shorter ATA bows as well as long draw lengths...

The dealer that tied mine on said he never had one come loose...we'll see.

I like them because it saves some "wear and tear" on your string.

I've worn out a string loop with a Scott release, so I figured that same wear would've resulted ina new string eventually, and a loop is cheaper than a string!

JMO!!!

I too switched to a string loop when I got my new Reflex Highlander. I was always shooting right off the string with an old PSE round wheel dual cam for years. But now that I've gotten used to a string loop, I wouldn't want to go back to shooting off the string again. They DO make a huge difference with string torque, accuracy, and saving wear and tear on the serving.

I have been shooting one since they first came ot and would not change back. I have worn out one but never had one come loose.

I say yes!! I use one because I have really long arms. And I need thatlittle extra to make my bow fit me.
