Default Shot the Sonics

Well my buddy and co-worker gave me the rest of his Sonic broadheads made by AmericanBroadhead. Heres the results. Wish I would have taken pictures.
Conditions: Sunny. 78 deg. Winds moderate from the East10-15mph

Equipment: PSE Nova 65#
Whisker Bisket Rest
Cobra Easy Slide Single Pin Site
29 Inch Easton 2314(al)
100gr Sonic Broadheads.

1st shot 15 yards. Dead Center.
2nd Shot 20 Yards. Dead Center.
3rd Shot 25 Yards. Center3/4 of an inch to the right
4th shot 30 Yards. Dead Center.
5th shot 35 Yards. Center 1 inch to the right.

I shot more arrows than that but I was tearing up my target pretty bad in the center. I have never seen ANY broadhead perform as true as the Sonic Broadheads. I even gained around 5-10fps switching to the sonics. I can see and hear the difference when I shoot these heads. These are the broadheads Ill be reaching for firstthis year, followed by my Muzzy 100 4 blade, and muzzy phantoms. This is truely the most amazing broadhead out there. When they say "Flys like a field point" they mean flys like a field point. This is the only broadhead I have found from any mfg that can actually back this up with the performance of the heads. If you havent tried this head please do so I guarentee you will get the same results if not better.

I am having mixed results with the 85gr. i think my arrow is a little light though. i'm going to try some new arrows and drop my poundage a little and see how they do. My set up is a PSE Fire Storm Lite @ 62lbs, 28in. gold tips,85gr sonics, wisker biskit. Anyone know if i'm right in trying these tuning alternatives to "stiffen my arrow spine" before i give up on the sonics. I realy like theses heads and hope i can get them to shoot. Didn't mean to take over your thread WIS, I agree with you that these heads should do it! did you see the video clips on ABC's web site? AWSOME

What is the cutting diamiter on the 100gr heads? I bought a pack of the
85gr heads last year, and just couldn't get over the fact of how small they
are. Didn't hunt with them for that fact. Guess I am old school and like to
cut big holes. What shooting I did do with them, they flew fine.
