How many hunting arrows?
 

Hey all,
Just wondered how many arrows yall have designated for hunting?? Right now i have 10 that will be only for shooting deer. Im hoping thats enough for the season. I fletched all my arrows and shot them w/ broadheads to make sure my 10 hunting arrows will be accurate. Cant wait, only 2 weeks away!

Last year I had 6. I only carry 4 when I hunt. I inspect them after a shot and if they are OK, I re-use them.

This year I am still playing with some new arrows and weight tubes so I may only have 4 by opening day.

You should only need 1 but I carry a 5 broadhead arrows and 1 field tip arrow for the pesty varmits and an occasional turkey or coon.

I have 9 hunting arrows with broadheads on them! I only have 3 in the quiver while in the woods!

How many deer are you planning to shoot?

I'll have two or three for hunting this year. I'm not planning on killing too many. I may load up for one spot because I do want to empty my quiver one morning 6 arrows - 6 deer. Got to love the over population areas.:D

I have 6 hunting arrows, but i only have 4 in my quiver when hunting, one of them is used for the racoons or whatever varments come wandering through.

I only carry 4 in my quiver as well. But I hunt in 3 different states as well as bear hunt. Im allowed 2 bucks in one state 3 in the other and 1 in the other. So i could potentially kill alot. I will reshoot an arrow, but you know how it goes, some get broken or damaged, i just want to have plenty. Im taking a trip to IL so i dont want to run out by then. Not to mention the unlimited antlerless deer i can take.

I keep a dozen all set to go but have only 5 in the quiver when I hunt

I bring 4 to the woods. 2 for deer 1 for coyote ect and I keep 1 as a marker arrow. If I shoot a deer I then shootit into a stump or tree where I last saw the deer. Things always look different on the ground.
