I use a wrist sling for hunting, and a finger sling for targets/3D.

I generally do. I don't have one right now, but thats only because the "leather" part of it was made of rotted and fell apart.

Never used one before but I think I might try one out this season. What are the major reasons to use one? I haven't really found a reason to use one.

With today's bows being so smooth and shock free, they don't jump out of your hand like they used to. I don't see the need.
