Default the results are in..

well some of you know i had a problem with my broadheads hitting right of my field points and we came to a conclusion that my arrows that were 29 inches long(28 inch draw) were about 2 inches too long. yesterday i had them all cut to 27inches. while i was there i decided i needed them refletched. my feathers, while purdy and forgiving have taken a beating. a couple went too deep into my beat up bag, cut one with broadheads etc. so i decided to try the blazers since they seem to be the latest craze.

after getting my rest back in tune(STILL as far from the riser as i can get it!) i shot a group of FPs then a broadhead. although its not 100% cured and they are a littttle off they came ALOT closer...so it helped..but i think im going to have the tune of the bow checked..unless you guys recomend something else??

as for the blazers.....consider me a new lover! the feathers shot good for me. but got beat up and ragged to fast. i passed one through my bag(i must have a giant hole in the back i gota sew it up) but i pulled it out the back side...it was PERFECT..undamaged. i was impressed.

heres a look at my first 25yd group with them

heres a pic that shows the blazers a little better

all in all im happy with my decisions..blazers are workin out great so far....and my BHs came closer to my FPs....now....how do i get them even CLOSER?? suggestions anyone?? thanx guys

You may have a spine problem. Too stiff or not enough. If cutting your arrows shorter helps, your arrows were not stiff enough. If you need to stiffen more, get a lighter point/ BH. Work in reverse if you need less spine. One thing to remember, the difference in length between your field point and BH, can throw off your FOC. Therefore your FPs may never hit the same as your BHs. I just sight in with BHs.

Nice grouping but your a fool unless you enjoy getting you arrows refletched. Don't take it personally. There are 5 dots on that target, shoot each arrow at a different spot. It only cost's you money.

greg your probably right. next year new arrows are in order. this year ill make due with what i have one way or another.

fieldmouse. i usually do shoot at diffrent dots ever since my robin hood. at 25 yards my groups usually arent that good to worry about it. but im going to start shooting the diffrent dots. thats part of why i needed refletched in the first place. and thats why i have a huge hole in my bag lol.

time to get back out there and tinker some more..

Robinhood already? I'm still looking for my first. If I shoot at the same spot I usually have to refletch and replace nocks everytime but never have got a robinhood. Nice shooting.

Tight groups like that can be costly if you keep shooting the same spot, beleave me I gotta refletch six of mine before opening day.
That is pretty good shooting anyway keep up the good work and good luck to ya this season.
