RE: STEELFORCE BROADHEAD USERS ???
Seano -
How many times did you re-use, shoot the heads ? I personally will only shoot a head once before replacing the blades, or resharpening.... Just curious. By the way - I have a pack of Muzzy's too..... but after watching the steelforce head go all the way through my target (same head) 15 times and sticking in the plywood I have 4 feet behind the target I started realizing that these things must be awesome .... when you see it go THROUGH your target that stops everything else it makes you realize that cut on contact broadheads clearly have an advantage - IF they shoot straight. These shoot better than my Muzzy's though..... |
RE: STEELFORCE BROADHEAD USERS ???
BJK, Thanks I know about the free sharpening. It just seems that when the season comes around I have to buy something<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>I use my old ones for practice and back-ups.

RE: STEELFORCE BROADHEAD USERS ???
I shoot the broadheads quite often and resharp them. It's just that the bleeders always broke off and I had to keep replacing them. Other than that, it would be fine. I just like my muzzys because have never had a blade broke on me yet and they've always passed through for me.

RE: STEELFORCE BROADHEAD USERS ???
i dont shoot them personally but a friend does and he shot a big doe at the start of the season and he hit her high on the opposite shoulder and it penetrated over into the big bone into the opposite shoulder asnd just destroyed it, broke the shoulder into about 50 different fragments, i swear it did more damaged then most slug wounds ive seen, the bleeder blade did brake off but that makes liitle difference as she only went 40 yds did a somersault and died.from what ive seen they do what they are supposed to.
