Default August 19th Pics:

Couple recent pics:
Check out the color of this big guy. Looks like he's got a real light tan color, should be easy to spot coming through the woods.

My favorite picture out of the group. "Times are changing"

And this big eight also came out to play:

As usual, awsome pics James. That split tine buck is looking better and better with each new pic. He has got some mass on him. The little fork horn is a great pic. I couldn't count how many times people have asked me why the deer are "sick" when they are shedding their summer coats. The 8 point is gorgeous, he just looks mean in that pic

Where is your camera set-up? It seems like you have it in a very high traffic area and it really seems like the deer love that mineral block. Around here mineral blocks are all but a waste, the deer just don't seem to pay any attention to them!

Thanks Jason. I've got the cam set up in an oak bottom, on the edge of a beaver pond. This was/is a natural mineral lick that I added two blocks to this spring. I've got scrapes all over in this area already. In just a few weeks the entire bottom will be loaded with rubs as well. I've already got my stand hung, and the deer have not seemed to pay it any attention. Just a few more weeks and I'll hopefully take the air out of one of these beasts. Three shooters on cam there already, all have been photographed during shooting hours, and the best is yet to come!
