Slow Motion Video of STS in action

Paul Mohr mentioned this video in another thread. He said after seeing this video there's no way he'd use an STS. What do you guys think?

Look at the rest of the vids on the sight. It shows a few bows without the sts and windstalker cable gaurd, then a few with them on.
I can't believe how much your string and cables move when you shoot! But after seeing how your string slams into the STS after the shot I don't think I would want one on my bow. Looks pretty voilent to me.
I was considering the windstalker, but after seeing the vids I don't see where it really does much, not worth 70 bucks that is for sure. At least in my opinion.

Its really hard to judge effectively without seeing both the comparison of a bow without the STS and also seeing a larger video so you can see the point at which the arrow leaves the string.
I'm no expert, but I like my STS and I'm gonna continue using it until I see a reason not to.

The bows without the STS look pretty violent too. I will continue to use mine. I have not heard of anyone having a bad experience with one other than not being happy with noise reduction. Until I hear of some physical failure I will continue to use it and recommend it to friends.

My friend has one and it drastically quiets the bow to a very low doink. I do not have one and have considered getting one installed but my bow is as quiet as my friends so I'm just going to fine tune for the season and maybe i'll get one in the off-season. Personal preferrance really.

I'm not doubting that it works, too many people have them that like them to say they are junk or anything. Just doesn't look like anything I would I want. And my bow is already really quiet and has no handshock to speak of.
I just saw those videos and thought Holy crap that thing really smacks your string when it hits. I am still debating the windstalker though.
