a religion analogy?

you have got to be kidding me?
Funny you should disagree with an analogy based around religion.

Farbman himself says that the WHA and what they plan on doing is in "God's plan."

A direct quote from Farbman himself can be found in the most recent issue of Outdoor Life.

please dont accuse me...

when logic, like yours is flawed, dont be surprised when a person like myself points it out

Jmonster,
Were you onboard with the WHA when they were going to drug the animals or have you just recently jumped on their bandwagon?

JmonsterZumbo was for the WHA when they were planning to tranq deer.

JZ, you have a couple of good points and have somewhat behaved respectful so I won't bash you, even though I completely disagree with your point of view.
But I will tell you one important thing for you to consider...
The name you are using, Zumbo, is one of the most respected names in hunting and stands for all the tradition and ethics the general hunting community holds so dear. He is one of the main people who have shaped our heritage. And I know he would never support the WHA - hell he'd punch you in the nose if he knew you were using his name to support it.
So you may consider the reason you've chosen that name, examine what hunting means to you, where you would like to see our heritage go, and see how the WHA fits in to that plan.

Hazcon, that's the very reason he uses that name and placed the word "monster" in front of it... Speaks volumes, does it not?

I think it also speaks volumes when I can write paragraph upon paragraph detailing why this is a farce with supporting examples and concrete reasoning, and the best retort is "your logic is flawed..."

Face it, jmonster... We the hunting community simply denounce this abberation Farbman has created and will not allow it to stand as representative of our sport, period. Whosever idea it was to insert "plants" into our community -- Yes, it's very apparent that you're a Farbman plant -- may have seemed like a good idea for their camp to "turn the tide"... but we will not be swayed.

I fail to see the flaw in your logic. But then again I am just a girl from the middle of nowhere and lost in East Texas who grew up saying "One nation, under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance and having the teacher lead us in the Lord's Prayer before lunch, which means I am 'too old' and 'too disconnected' from this generation to understand anything. (I am fairly sure I got the wording from one of jmonster's earlier posts). Let's face it, when you realize that not every new idea is a good thing is usually when you get to the age of too old and too disconnected.

Amen, Shannon. Nor does throwing money at a new idea make it a worthwhile endeavor.

Ct-
thanks for the message..

I dont have a problem with harvesting and killing a white-tail. Hell, that is what I do!

I am glad to see the WHA is fatal now...

BTW- I heard from a relative in Dallas that the WHA was at the Texas Trophy hunters Xtravagenza and he said he spoke with the guys at the WHA.

He went on to say they had one of the most popular booths and that they (the WHA) really came prepared. He said they answered all his questions and He is now re-considering his opinion on the WHA...

Hell- I trust him more than some interent poster..
then why did you relate hutning to murder? I didnt get that

Hi JMonsterZumbo a/k/a Farbman plant.I hope you are being compensated well for your time because that will be the only satisfaction you receive from your efforts! David Farbman is being quick on his feet and reacting to his obstacles as they unfold before him, nothing more nothing less! The mere fact that he proposed what he proposed is sufficient for this life long hunter to conclude that this is some thing that is an embarrassment and detrimental to the hunting community! It has been denounced by Pope and Young and Boone and Crockett and many other's,there is yet to be any one of high esteem in the hunting community that has spoken in favor of it.
Now any one with half a brain can debate either side of an issue well but with this particular issue if it isn't immediately clear to you that it is wrong than you aren't a hunter your just someone without a moral compass. To suggest that the "hunters" will have a cult following,to make mention of beautiful WHA ladies puhleese! What a freakin joke!!!!!

I think it is best to just ignore JZ. He/she's not a Farbman plant, He/she just likes "stirring the pot" if you will and starting flame wars.

Personally, I am sick and tired of EVERYONE who tries to make money off of hunting. Obviously the makers of products want to prove their stuff works in the field, but a hunting tourny of any kind is a bad idea. I don't even like watching the Bass tourneys.

So why drugs? If they're going to have a tourney, why not just hit em with paint balls?
