Default Does anybody do this anymore??

In this fast paced and techno advancedage of hunting, does anybody use horses to enter their stands sight or to scout or hang cameras. Other than the outfitters or the guys that have to because of the terrain. I am thinking of using mine for hunting I thought maybe I could slip in alittle quieter than i could with the atv.

hey i don't know why not, you should.

I had a friend who used to go to his elk spot with horses and when they got with in with in sight he would get off and walk along side it, and the elk wouldn't spook. He shot a bull every year for 5 years from the same area, with his rifle however, but still it was impressive.
