Squirrel, and everyone else. I took the pictures in these scenarios on purpose. You see, "blending in" is one thing, being "disguised" is another. I believe your disguise can make or break you. That said, "Predator" disguises you pretty darn well in any background. Breaking your outline up is a great plus, but if you still look like a human and are not disguised, you are still defeating your purpose. Yeah, a deer is gonna question "anything" out of place, but if that anything does not seem to pose a threat or smell bad = Comfortable Deer. I will still use Mossy Oak in Scent Lok. I will use an old Trebark suit. I will use Realtree Hardwoods. I will use any of these, but only if they disguise me. After all, you don't wanna look like a tree limb, a bush, a tree trunk, a ________ whatever just to be looking like one do you?

LT, that, right there, was FUNNY!!! I can't possibly tell you that, in fact, that's the beauty of it all. Camo patterns are more designed for our eyes, not the animals. There's really one reason for this. We don't know WHAT the animal sees. We simply can't ask them. Camo such as ASAT have no shelf appeal what so ever. It's impossible to explain if you've never worn it, because it looks like nothing to us. But that's why the big guys sell camo, it sure does LOOK good to us.

I'm not trying to argue, or even second guess you, but you said you wanted feedback, both positive and NEGATIVE.....I just don't like it in the situation you've put it in is all.

Your outline is gone, period. Now... do the colors blend in with your surroundings? Absolutely not, and I think that's what some are seeing here.

In your treestand pic, imagine if you were about 10 yards to your right... where the trees end and the sky starts. Those white blobs which are so effective at obliterating your outline now would simply make it vanish against the skyline.

Have your picture-taker walk about 10-15 yards to their left, so that we as viewers will see you as a deer would when you were skylighted. That's when this pattern performs its best.

I wonder what a deer thinks. Hmmm, there is a tree out of place here. Hmmm, there is a rock that wasn't here yesterday. Hmmm, a bush that looks like a human, better go around him. You honestly think a deer cares if a tree falls, a limb is out of place, the wind blows, lightning strikes? A deer has 3 things on his mind that we "Know", Food, Mating, and Eluding predators. Anything else that goes on in a deer's life is just that, a life occurrence. Just like we go through changes and so do our surroundings, a deer will adapt and life goes on. That said, appear and smell like something in a deer's everyday life and you are on your way to becoming one with the elusive whitetail Danielson.

I have heard many times that deer are colorblind and can only see hi uv colors like blue. Anyone else heard this? If true then you should take some black and white picks. Oh and deer can not see the fancy detail of the leaves and twigs on these detailed camos such as MO or AT. Not that they are bad camos.

Ive never been impressed with the predator camo. Now that Illusion 3D is some cool looking stuff and blends in with all surroundings all year round.

I'm simply a skeptic.

I've had deer look right at me.....with the "commercial" stuff on.....and never go on alert....due to me remaining perfectly still. I don't think I've ever been busted by a deer looking and thinking (who can argue this....lol) "what's that blob"?

I set up 2 stands on Wednesday night.....and both places...I looked for where I had NATURAL cover. I'll take my chances.

Will you be successful wearing this stuff? Likely. Would you be successful if you had on something else??? That's called marketing, boys.........

Me....I'm hoping they NEVER SEE ME (or hear me.....ifyaknowwhatimean).

Just my .02

One more observation........

THE ONLY camo I've seen that I'm impressed with...............

Is a long sleeve black t-shirt.....while inside our DB blind (windows up). You're invisible.

I've often thought a solid grey sweatsuit would actually work better in the Winter, here....against our ashen colored trees. Maybe I'll try that, this year. I know it would "blend" better than the camo patterns I've seen or tried. Isn't that the point??????

I started a thread a couple of weeks ago that asked "who's the camo for,.....us or them"?

I still think I know the answer. BUT....is some better than others??? YES. This is as good as I've seen (well....other than the black t-shirt!).
