Awesome; simply awesome!
I take it you were in a blind? Permanent, or something like a Double Bull? |

Greg, yes I was in a blind. A freind of mine gets a ton of credit towards this goat, He hauled a premade plywood blind in, it was a 7 ft cube with wall to wall carpet and lounge chairs. It was like a holiday inn, in the middle of the desert. No matter how nice the blind is, anyone who has hunted goats over water, knows the patience involved and the trechery of the heat. In the morning you want to have on long johns, and by mid day, you will be stripped down to your boxer shorts as the temps in the blind are well over 100 degrees. My best freind was a water bottle and a bottle of asperin for the terrible heat headache I got will sitting out there. I had the experience of watching a meteor shower while sleeping in the great outdoors. Nothing like the desert at night. I love to hear the song dogs howl. That land has been untouched for centuries, and it should stay that way through my lifetime.
