Granted these aren't the biggest deer here. I have 13 different bucks on this piece of property. These are third generation pics do hopefully they are good.

The really nice thing about this property is that there are 2 natural funnels, one of them really funnels them tight. It's between a large creek and a steep bank, 18yds at it's farthest distance. Completely worn down.
I wish I could get the 2 big ones to say cheese. Saw one last year that was roughly 20" 12 point. Last year I had 3 rolls of film with just bucks, I decided this year to keep it to a minumum.

Here's a couple of myhunting buddiesfrom 2-3 weeks ago (I haven't been back in to check on them, again):

I've got 3 good bucks in here (2 8-pointers and a 10-pointer)......and I can't wait to get the season started off right.

GREAT FISH (and fish....is plural!).

I live on the opposite side of town.....P-town/King area.

Those have to photoshopped, I don't remember a day in July when it was below 90.:DWHo do you use for getting your stuff mounted? I have hunted all around King, but have let some of it go. You're not a Nelson are you?

No nelson here.....and you have to check the time on those photos. They haven't been doctored......

I haven't needed a taxidermist in NC, yet :eek: (I moved back here from Charleston, SC). I assume you know one.....lol (I know, I KNOW!). Send me a PM.

Also....do you do anythign with Pheasants? Photos?

I have a pheasant to do right now, as a matter of fact. I have done a few flying but this one is going to be roosted. Wanted to offer the guy something different. Here's a few pictures but I don't have any of the pheasants that I can upload

farm - you can't be from Walnut Cove, cause there it is pronounced "Kang". I wanted to PM you about the hunters safety course but couldn't get it to come up. PM me please, I have an 11 year old that I want to take the course.

IS there anyone here that isn't from this region? I have hunted Surry, and near King, and Walnut Cove. Do we have anyone from Francisco? Do any of you guys know of a good lease around. I have friends that are looking. I get tired of them calling me wanting to go to my lands. Lost 5 good bucks, including that ten posted in this post, to people who I took to "my places". I was kinda running a guide/taxidermy business last year.;)

Nice pics guys! I'm from the southeastern partof the state in Robeson countyand i've never even heard of Francisco...lol.

As for land leases there was aguy over on ATthat had some openings a couple weeks ago on abig lease around the Fayetteville areain Scotland county but i don't know if those spots have been filled or not. Here's a link to his post if anyone may be interested.

Hey oneshot, i see you're from Wilmington. I'm only about60 miles west of you up hwy 74 on the west side of Whiteville justacross the columbus county line.Thefamily and i were up your way not long agowhen we took the kids there for the battleship tour.Looks like a nice area and we seen quite a few deer up that way too.

Used to fish both actually, but it's too far of a drive and I sold the rods to buy my son a 870 20. Used to fish all over from Caraway to Smith's. Whereabouts Fransisco do ya hunt? I actually hunt above Fransisco near Steven's Plastic plant.

I've got a few acres in Westfield that I hunt, too (actually....this will be the first year).

Nope. I counted 65 turkeys from my deer stand (that I had WALKED to)on Thanksgiving morning.

I don't travel to turkey hunt!
