Default Military Charcoal Suits???

Anybody ever tried using the Military issued charcoalsuits? My cousin(treehunter)got us about 2-3a piece from work for free.Brand new still in the packages.Real nice suits and like I said brand new.I got to wash them though cause these things really have the charcoal in them.

We were cleaning out an old warehouse on a military base and found them. We were just going to throw them away but I decided to keep them to use for hunting. They are, by today's standards, training suits dated back to 1986. They should work great for hunting though.

I agree. I used mine when I was at Ft. Hood. Dropped a doe at around 5yds and I was out in the open. Those suits have more thsn 1 use atleast. Problem is that after a few washes they just become a jumpsuit. The charcoal filiment doesn't last long.

I picked up a NATO chem suit(woodlands camo pattern) on ebay a couple of years ago for $25. Regardless of whethercharcoal suits actually work, you can't beat the price. Especially if you got"ours" for free.
Always try to hunt with the wind in your favor, and you'll be fine either way.
