RE: How far to your stand?
 

If I walk, it's about half a mile, but I usually ride my 4 wheeler to within 40 yds or so. I can't imagine walking in with gun and gear for 2 miles. 1st half of last season, it was mighty hot here. I would be drenched with sweat if I had to go very far early in season.

Its a little over a mile to my stand, I canoe the first 3/4 mile then I walk so its not that bad
