I hope I can get a crack at one that size in a couple week's when I return from my bear hunt .
If I was to take a guess I'd guess 350 to 400lbs as well. He's definately large and sure would make a nice rug.

That is a big bear. From the looks of that last picture, you are lucky he didn't start munching on your camera.

Buck Knife... You might be able to start hunting bear closer to home sooner than you think! I have a good friend who lives about 10 miles outside of Hudson and they had a good sized bear in their yard a couple of weeks ago. From what he said there had been some articles in the paper about how the population was picking up around therea bit and obviously there were starting to be more and more bear/human encounters because of more houses being built.

wow that is a very nice huge bear. I wish we had bears up in my area.
