i use eastons excell arrows and i am tryin to figure out my arrow eight and what type of arrow should i use ex]300 400 or 500 i am currently usin a 400 but im not sure if thats the right one..i have a 50lb draw weight...please help me

How long are your arrows? If I remember, your thread yesterday stated you had a 23 1/2" draw, correct? If so, your arrows are probably in the 22 1/2" range, yes? If so, a 500 would do fine, but nothing wrong w/ your 400's either.

yes i do have a 23 1/2 inch draw but my arrows are 29 1/2 in. including the nock

so what would be better a 500 or 400 i didnt even kno you can cut your arrows untill yesterday i saw the machine at the bowshop but will it affect my flight any? it will probably make my fps way faster too rite

Why are they so long? That's 6" longer than your DL......They could be much, much shorter. Given that, you are borderline 500 and 400. Best to be overspined than under, stick w/ the 400's, or cut them down and use 500. You aren't hurting anything w/ them that long, just not necessary.

Yes, by cutting your arrows down by 5 or 6 inches, you'll lose about 40 grains of arrow weight and increase your speed by...oh......6 or 7 fps. They just don't need to be that long. Unless you plan on growing really fast and increasing your DL....

so what do u suggest that i do buy 500 and cut them down by 5 in

Yes, I would. But if you don't want to buy new arrows, cut the ones down you have now.

WILL IT CHANGE THE PERFORMENCE AT ALL OF THE SIZE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 500 AND 400? BECAUSE I AM PLANNING TO CUT THEM AT 24 INCHES DO U THINK THAT WILL BE GOOD?
