How many arrows?
 

Just wandering how many arrows you all take to the stand while deer hunting? I normally take 3, all furnished with sharp dependable broadheads. I believe if I have to shoot more than 3 times on one hunt, then it is time to set up shop and head it to the house.

3 for me too. if i get more than three shoots and haven't stuck he or she with three shoots guess they need to be stuck and one of those arrow i take with a field point for small game!!!

I take three broad heads and 1 field tip for small game . i agree if you need more than three shots at a deer you should go home and practice

6. 2 Stingers, 2 Hammerheads, and 2 blunts. Hey, I just figured something out......It's no darn wonder I don't shoot many deer......too darn many choices...[&:][8D]

5, I may run into hogs on my way in or out and might be able to get a couple of them. Besides, I have a 5 arrow quiver. It just doesn't look right with fewer arrows.

I use 3. Mainly cuz I like the smaller quiver..

i have a 4 arrow quiver and i always fill it. i have 3 arrows with good broadheads for deer and the 4th arrow has one of last years broadheads on it for other non deer critters.

when ordering my bow i ordered a 3 arrow quiver. lighter, smaller, and like was said, if i shoot more then 3 times while on stand i need to shoot targets not live game....or i filled all my tags and i got a long drag ahead of me;) ill keep the rest in the truck...just incase i DO miss while away from home and break an arrow or something..

It depends on what year it is. Ive been know to take 1 to 6 arrows. Sometimes some of them have been on loan. I don't buy new arrows that often because I split the group in half ones for hunting others for target.I don't shoot for the robins because you'll soon learn it screws up a lot of arrows. Always aim at a diferrent spot and you'll find it cheaper that way.

Then I get into of years hunt with what I got. It's not as bad as it sounds, my friends hunt basically the same arrows and you'll find not much changes in a half inch. They went back to aluminum and I ready as well. Just remember "Shoot to Kill!"

I carry 5 which is a full quiver! 3 tipped with muzzys 100 grain and 2 field points

3 for me. Never needed more than 2. I wish I had one of those cat quivers. I don't like my quiver on my bow anyway. They are still pretty pricey though.

5. One blunt, all the rest broadheads. If there are turkey in the area, i take one mechanical.

I carry 4 arrows loaded with 100 grain Spit Fire Broad heads just waiting to be launched at a passing deer.

I take four arrows, three with 100 gr Thunderheads and one with a judo point for the occasional practice/stump/varment shot.

When elk hunting I take 6 or 7 in my Mathews quiver,
Five are tipped with broadheads, two are tipped with judo's for grouse. I also put the judo arrows upside down in my quiver so I don't grab the wrong arrow in heat of the moment.

4, used to take only 1, but one day I got checked by a warden who just could not believe that I had only 1 arrow. he even went as far as searching the area for a rifle??
