I've heard bad things about the trap door (can't remember where though, sorry). I just got a trophy taker and have no complaints at all.

I considered the Trap Door but decided to get a Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter drop-away. I really like this rest! Simple, and clean, nothing really can go wrong.

I just like the muzzy zero effect rest. It is great and bullet proof.

If you can remember to reset it, the Savage Derringer Drop away is an inexpensive alternative. I recently took my first shot on a deer and forgot to reset it though. If you've got a cool head when shooting at an animal, it works great.
