Ground hog, 40 yrds, right in the backof the head. He never moved except for the front leg twitched. The best part was it took me four shots in the exact same spot starting 10 mins later to kill a nice 8 pointer. I shot so bad at that darn deer he walked away and circled back around for my last arrow to drop him. Go figure.

20 yards on a deer last year........opening day of archery. Never shot at anything farther.

60 yard 3 arrow group in the 10 ring of my McKenzie deer target in my yard.

62 yards on an antelope in the wide open plains of Wyoming. Lung shot and antelope dropped about 60 yards later.

I shot a small 3pt buck at an honest 50yds about ten years ago. I watched it and a larger buck feeding on acorns. The larger buck was screened by brush but the smaller one was open. I watched for a good while and had plenty of time to estimate distance.

Another time I took a walking shot at a small doe at about 15yds and hit her too far back in the guts. She ran about 50yds and layed down. After a bit she got up and I shot again. Put one through both lungs.
