After shooting Hoyt's for about 10 years, I purchased my first Bowtech, an Allegiance after a lengthy research project...read about it here: http://www.huntingnet.com/fieldjournal/fieldjournal_detail.aspx?nID=434

I love my 2005 BT Liberty. The best bow I've ever shot for sure.

Allegiance and Tribute are my favorite of all the Bowtechs. Try all the brands you can. Lots of good bows these days. (kcison, that is really a nice buck in your avitar!!!)

I heard they have really smooth draw, but are rather slow when compared to other higher end bows.

I started shooting Bowtech back when the Black Knight was first introduced and I just bought my 2nd being a Allegiance 06 and as far as I am concerned they are the best on the market but like they say to each his own best to find what is best for you.

RE: BowTech Bows

I've got my Martin that I will be hunting with this season. I don't jump on anything out of impulse (anymore);).
I've got a bow shop that is close to me but they don't carry BowTech's, so.....
Right now I'm deciding whether I should drive the 50 miles to look at a BowTech or just a few miles to look at all the other brand names.
(So far this forum has talked me into the drive.)
I will handle plenty of bows before next summer and by this time next year I WILL be shooting a new bow (maybe a BowTech).

Keep the opinions coming...............
