Definently a bobcat you can tell real easy by the short tail and the spray of hair along the bottom of the jawbone below the ears. Coungers have a nice smooth hide throughout but a Bobcat got best way to destribe is is a beard back in the back of the jaw. Don't get me wrong it is a brute of a bobcat and a real trophy. Nice pictures.

Looks like a bynx or a lobcat to me.[&:]
(half breed)

Actually, Bobcat seems best. It's got the sizeand markingson the tail, markiings on the inside of the legs and the right shape to the head, the only thing trowing me is the apparent lack of spots on the coat. Might be a light phase though. Where are you at?

Another thing thatyou can dowould be get some measurements.
Next time you go out to the taril cam, take a print of the photo and a tape measure with you, find that bush it was walking past and take some measurements to approximate it's height and length. That would cince it as to what it is. (most certainly eliminate cougar/mtn lion from the mix)

If that photo was taken in Pa then I'm sure it was a Cougar released by the PGC.
