The only mistake you may have made was to leave your scent in the woods near you stand, with you not being there. A deer may come to investigate the scent and you wont be there to whack him. If that happens that deer may not show such an intrest in it due to it already checking it out. The scent wont last a week , it will wear off, you will have to add some more or put out a new one. But I would suggest to move your scent from where it was left and possible try a knew scent. Good luck

Don't get frustrated, and has nothing to do with being new. Sometimes post just get overlooked, or missed, or they get paged before get caught. Especially when alot of new posts are made. Oh by the way Welcome!!!!!!!!! I hope I helped with your question on your latest post. Deer hunting is an adventure, and learning experience. Be open minded, and let us know your own results. Go give it a whirl again, good luck!
