Shooting TOO LOW ! ?
#12

I doubt this is your problem...this usually causes someone to shoot high instead of low, but I've had problems with this before...of course, I'm also hunting from about 30 feet high so my angles are more severe than most hunter's.
Anyways...it doesn't hurt to have anyways.
The distance from a treestand usually differs from ground to base-of-tree distance. If you have a rangefinder or could mooch one from a buddy, climb in the tree, shoot waypoints from up there, and make a list with the yardage. Perhaps that would help too...
If not...good luck fixing your form...sometimes it's tricky to do that.

Shoot from a practice stand and have someone watch you. Bend at the waust...keep your head in there...follow through...don't drop your bow arm. But practice from a stand...will help.

Hey....I'm no expert.....but....
Are you imagining where you want your arrow to EXIT your deer? I had to think about this after I'd been shooting at targets for a long time. Where do I actually want my arrow to EXIT the deer (this IS an angled shot, ya know)??? This thought process has made me aim HIGHER on a deer's body (from an elevated stand.....which is what you asked about).
I've heard a LOT of guys here say......AIM FOR THE EXIT HOLE.
Form aside....this is advice that I've remembered.
