What digital game camera are you using?
Hey folks! There's been a lot of threads with guys posting their digital game camera pics.
My two home-brew 35mm jobs have sort of bit the dust and I have grown tired of getting the film developed. Please tell us what camera make and model (include how many megapixels) you're using and post a sample pic! Thanks! Chris |
RE: What digital game camera are you using?
moultrie gamespy 200 3.1 mp $169

RE: What digital game camera are you using?
Wildview Digital 2.0.
Pros: 2.0 megapixels is enough for me. Price is right at $99 (another $30 for memory card and another $40 for rechargeable batteries/charger). Cons: Shudder speed is slow. But not sobad if you have it at a mineral site or throw some corn out to top them to say cheese. ![]() |

Is something with no flash pretty much 100% necessary for deer so as not to scare them off, or does a flash really not bother them?
|
RE: What digital game camera are you using?
I don't think it really bothers the deer. Not sure though

Stealth 35mm..takes great pics. I may go to digital this summer just to save on film and hassle.

Geeze--that's a difficult question.
Of all the trail cameras I've used--for the price the Moultrie Game Spy 200, itdoes a reasonable job. The Cuddeback 3.0 produces good pictures--but somehow the older 3.0 MP isn't as sensitive as some say. I'm now testing the New Bushnell 3.0 MP 11-9930 IR, the sensitivity is excellent--very fast--hopefully this model doesn't fill itself with WATER like its predecessor. I'm also testing the New Cuddeback NoFlash--so far it's been a disappointment--I'm still fiddling with the settings, hopefully something changes for the better. |
RE: What digital game camera are you using?
would you say thats a mature doe in the pic i posted, would you shoot her

RE: What digital game camera are you using?
Cougar.....which camera is that? I think it's the same one as mine......and if so...(moultrie 200) how did you get it to post the photo so large? I posted my 1st photos this morning......and they look PITIFUL next to yours. I also have to chnge my resolution. I've got a 512 card in there.......so there's NO sense in taking low es. photos.
I bought a 3.0 Cudde that I should have, tomorrow. I can't wait to get that one set up, too. Jeff |
RE: What digital game camera are you using?
I have 2 cuddebacks and a Moultrie 200 and nothing beats the cuddebacks. They are alittle spendy but well worth it.

RE: What digital game camera are you using?
yeah its a moultrie 200, i have it on whatever resolution it came on but i put it on enhanced for better pics, i just uploaded them onto photobucket and then put them on here, thats all i did

RE: What digital game camera are you using?
also in my opinion the moultrie are the absolute best camera for the money

RE: What digital game camera are you using?
I'm use the Stealthcam special form Wal-Mart. 35mm film and slow triggering time and all that jazz...but for the price I paid I've been overly impressed. Here's a pic or two...

I'm an idiot...just re-read the subject title for the 15th time and actually realized this time that it said "digital game camera."
I'm an idiot... I don't have a "digital" game camera...but the one I do have, I posted pictures from...even though it's...kinda...off-topic. My bad... |
RE: What digital game camera are you using?

RE: What digital game camera are you using?
I am still using the 35mm as I can not get my digitals to work on
this computor and I lose a lot of photos when getting them developed. |
RE: What digital game camera are you using?
lol, i posted a pic from my regular digital camera, i didn't read that you were looking for a trail camera lol
|
RE: What digital game camera are you using?
I've been using my 'Cuddeback' for several years now and have tons of great pictures. I originally started with a Digital 'Stealth' but it ate the batteries in few days, other than that the pictures were great.

RE: What digital game camera are you using?
This is from a Wildview Extreme II. Slow shutter speed but if you use salt blocks or a food source it works great. I am using everything here, an apple tree in the background as well as a salt and mineral block right off a grassfield. ![]() |
