Peep vs. Kisser??
what do you guyssuggest iput on my new bow? i am unsure, i have heard good and bad for both.

RE: Peep vs. Kisser??
i USE A KISSER BUT NO PEEP.

RE: Peep vs. Kisser??
I use both, sort of. I use a peep and I tie a ball of serving on the string to act as a small
kisser button. It makes a solid anchor for me. |
RE: Peep vs. Kisser??
I like just a peep. I would suggest to just try and see what you are comfortable with.

RE: Peep vs. Kisser??
I have a peep sight and the kisser button. I think that way I have more of a constant anchor point

RE: Peep vs. Kisser??
I'm a peep only guy. I use my knuckle and jaw for the second anchor point. But it gets into what you are comfortable with. I have buddies that have just kissers and both kissers and peeps. All are good shots.

RE: Peep vs. Kisser??
A peep and a kisser button is redundant, you really don't need both. It just adds more weight to your string. And if you shoot at longer yardarges with a peep and try to center the pin in the peep your kisser button will not be in the same spot because you need to change your anchor point slightly to get the pin in the center of the peep. This will also happen with a single pin movable sight.
A peep is more accurate than a kisser in most cases, especially a smaller one. It actually helps you line up the pin and you can center the pin in the peep for more consistancy. Kisser buttons don't really work that well if used incorectly anyway. Most put them in the corner of their mouths, which is not a consistant enough anchor. It should touch a tooth or something solid that you can't move from shot to shot. You can make your mouth move to the kisser button. I can actually shoot alright without either, but I used a No Peep to train myself, then took it off. However I am more accurate with a peep, especially at longer distances. Paul |
