soybeans vs corn
#2
Definately depends on the time of the year. I've noticed that once the soybeans start maturing toward harvest time, the deer quit feeding in them until they are combined. On the other hand deer in my area live/eat/breathe corn fields. So my vote will have to be for corn.

For early in the season deer love soybeans so my vote is for soybeans in the early bow season. If you talking about later in the season like during the gun season or later then the corn is where they will be. So if you have both on your hunting property then your sitting pretty good.

Depending on the time of year, I think deer like the two equally. I have a similiar place near my house and if you can find an area where the two fields meet, it's all over but the crying for your deer.

I believe that deer like early beens better to eat, but standing corn gives them much more security, and can even change travel patterns enough to bring them back to the corn after it is cut...Say, creatures of habit.
