I use scents! I use scents such as doe urine to help attract bucks during rut and I also use products that help me de-scent so that they don't smell me as much either..

Not cheating at all.. I've never understood how some people think that using certain products to help better your chances is cheating. such as scents, camo, choice of weapon, food plots etc...

I mean if you hunt fenced in areas where the animals are baited and brought to you that's one thing but just using products to help your chances is not cheating. Especially if it's legal where your from...

There is a time and a place. Use them correctly they are wonderful. Use them incorrectly forget about it. It's not magic it, it's a tool...

I don't, but that's mainly because I don't understand well enough their use.

My wise azz answer is yes "common" I have been using it for years! My true answer is yes,and I have killed many deer through the use of scents.Of the many I have thrown away money on the ones I have absolute confidence in are Kishel's,James Valley and Real deer.I also use fresh tarsal glands and will rely upon their use more and more.

I put no.

I've used them in the past with little or no success and have no urge to use them again in the future. Granted, they work well to stop deer on trails in front of my stands, but I don't feel that they draw them into effective bow range.

They either come in or they don't.

I voted yes but honestly only depending on the circumstances. On some of the public tracks I hunt, there are so many hunters carting in a 100 different scents, I tend to go scent free. During the peak of the rut however, doe pee is on.

Once in a while I'll use some during or before rut.
