Default whats it worth?

Lets just say I have the urge to buy a new bow. I want to sell my "old" one, but am not sure what to ask.

Hoyt Protec 2004
camo, xt 2000 limbs
spiral cams
60 - 70 lbs Bare bow.
There isnt a scratch on this bow, and I've spent a half hour looking for them.
New strings on the bow.

Between 4-500. I sell all of our used or trade in equipment that we take in the shop on the internet, my suggestion is to first put up classifieds online on forums, and then put on ebay w/ no reserve starting at $1.

Hi Josh,I have a 2005 Protec with similar specs,I put it in the Archerytalk classifieds at $500 and I only got 1 luke warm bite on it.I am probably going to list it on ebay.
I am a little fearful of not placing a reserve on it though,I wouldn't want to end of giving it away.

I would say if you cant sell it try and get the most the shop owner will give you on trade in.

Most of the shops I've been to will sell it for you, and then want 15% - I'd rather just hang onto it and keep it as a backup before going that route. I'll most likely hunt with it this year and see what I can get for it - even though I'm sure I'd get more if I sold it a few months before hunting season.
