I've been deprived too but hope to go sometime this summer. A friend of mine got some great pics at the one in PA.

Bring me something back.

They went and built a Cabelas in my backyard! (Just south of Austin.....Buda store). Shame on them.
I'm on a first name basis with them.....either they like me or I've spent a lot of money with them! I find myself making excuses torun overthere....I think my wife has caught on to that.
Cabelas is not a store....it's an event!
Prices are usually competetive, sometimes a little higher....but the employees are helpful and friendly (that tends to make you overlook a slightly higher price).
Their inventory is amazing.....very unusual not to find what you need there. At WalMart they keep revolving the seasonal sporting goods.....aggravating! Not at Cabelas!

Luckily for me the cabelas in Dundee MI, is only about 40 min. away from my house and i make the trip at least three times a month. That first time is amazing but after having been there nearly a hundred times its kinda like going to the mall though. I still never turn down the chance to go.and im not one to brag but the one in Michigan is supposed to be the biggest of all stores

i was thinking of going this weekend also! Me and the wife went about three weeks ago. She brought a book and just chilled as a shopped for about 3 hours. The mounts are soo cool especially the whitetalls of WV. Have a great time and don't forget your camera!!
