too soon to tell and not the right angle to see the spread. He has potential. For the contest after passing a lot up last year, I might shoot him to help out them team.

Well, they say that if you are to shoot the "Big One" you must let the little ones walk, not that he's little! Well, I let more deer walk than I care to count last year, and not only did I not get the Big One, I didn't get one at all! Not w/ my bow, anyway.

This year, Don's shootin, and if that bad boy were to walk in front of me, I'd let him hold it for sure!

If you are only after some kind of record breaking buck then keep looking. As for me I couldadd all my archery kills together and not equal this one. LOL

From what I hear, whitetails in the midwest right now (July 12th) are only at about 60% of the full potential, 70% by the end of July. If this is truly the case, I might have to take a crack at him this fall.
