RE: Ratchet Straps For Hanging Stands

I have used both the ratchet strap and the pull tight type of straps from WalMart and they work fine. Just remember that the ratchet straps make a ton of noise when you are setting up. I use the ratchet type on my ladder stands and the pull tight on my hang on that I setup each time I hunt.

A nylon webbing strap is a nylon webbing strap no matter who markets it .
Other than slight differences in the design of the ratchet mechanism they're all about the same , use one with a weight rating you trust .
I totally agree with Kevin ! :)
