I your F.O.C. calculation would determine what weight to use as to brand that is a personal choice. I use Thunderheads, but Muzzy, Montecs all are fine broarheads as are MANY others.
I shoot Thunderheads because they flew best out of my FX and I see no need to change. Your bow, and shooting dicipline may also lead you in one direction or another. Try several after you find your F.O.C. |

Cougars09 there is noway we could honestly know the the info your asking for but this is what i would suggest.
Take your bow and your arrows to a good archery shop. Shot both 85gr and 100 gr. field pointsthrough cronograph(cn't spell to tired) once you got your avg speed with each size head have them waigh your arrow- field point. Take all this info to a web-site like goldtips.com and they got a KE calculator just put in wiaght of arrow and speed of that waight andit will tell you your KE for that setup. Trytan |
