if I had to choose it would definitely be a drop away over the WB... chronographs show the whisker biscuit cuts 10-12 fps off arrow speed.
Plus I just dont like all that contact... I thought we were trying to eliminate fletching contact?[&:]

That is a problem...if you go WB shoot the straightest fletchings possible

Had a WB was going through way to many fletching jobs. I switched to a Muzzy Zero Effect and won't ever need to get anything else. There is nothing wrong with the WB just I was shooting to much. It's a good hunting rest.

I purchased a WB when I bought my Switchback last year and shot it for a couple of days. I liked it for the containment feature, but that was it. I didn't care for the vane contact or the sound of the fletching tearing through the biscuit. Don't get me wrong, it is an outstanding rest. But the drop-away(QAD ultra-rest)I purchased gives me arrow containment; its quieter; there's no speed loss; and there is no fletching contact. For anyone that is considering one vs. the other, go to your local bow shop and try them. IMO a drop-away is better.

i just switched from a wb to a qad ultra rest, the wb is a very good rest but my fletching just took a beating with it. i am shooting great with the qad, and will put it to the test this hunting season.

Drop away for me thank you.
Heard too many bad reviews about the biscuit.
I really don't understand why every shop that sells package deal set-up bows with the biscuit on it.
Every one that I've talked to, said they ended taking the biscuit off and putting a drop away on.

Well I currently have the MUZZZY ZE and its has treated me flawlessy for 4 yrs. I just thought about switching due to all the HYPE over the Whiskerbiscuit.. But i like to shoot helical feathers and i dont think the WB is the way to go.. I'll stay with the TRIED AND TRUE...

You all just helped me solve a problem I have been having with my bow. I tend to drop my bow arm imediately after the shot. Bad form I know. But if that arrow hasn't cleared that wb rest before I drop my arm. Then its affecting the arrow flight caused by my bad form. But if I used different style rest, then the arrow wouldn't be affected nearly as much if or when I do drop my arm. That make sense to yall or am I just nuts?

Do a search. There's probably been 10,000 threads on here about the WB. Great, accurate hunting rest. I shoot helicals, both plastic and feathers, and no problem. You will have to tune your bow or you will get vane damage. Speed loss is more like 2-3 fps, nothing worth noting unless maybe you were shooting a really slow bow with really heavy arrows. Like everything else, you'll really only know for sure if you try one. More people than not that have actually used them love them.

Muzzy Zero Effect is the way to go... Been solid and reliable for me for the past 4 years.
