That's just like a left wing stance on any issue. They don't tell the big picture. It should have read how hunters across the country are united denouncing this pathetic attempt at $ at the expense of the animals. But they sure got the NRA in there and PETA.....what about the rest of us real sportsmen and women that condemn it....Farbman is nothing more than a glory/$ hound and has nothing good for hunting in his agenda....

So to donate venison to feed the hungry(something lots ofreal hunters do already) what are they going to do? Dart the animal and then kill it?

I like the fact that it said " Deals are in the works to televise it this fall". That sounds to me like they don't have anyone willing to broadcast it yet. Also, seems like Farbman may be starting to feel some pressure with the mention of other tricks up his sleeve if this doesn't catch on.

I think this is a pathetic idea. I personaly feel that to show who the truely skilled hunter is, they have to choose public lands or everyday lands to hunt like the average hunter, do all the work to harvest the animal, record the hunt for television then donate the meat to shelters it wouldn't be quite as bad.

But i still am not fond of the money prizes, as someone said before, this isn't tournament bass fishing, it is hunting the prizew should be bragging rights for the year
