Default 30 yd groups

Just got home and drinking a few beers and taking my boy on in a game of bow, we compete against each other. Here is a group fired in rapid concession out of my Trykon at 30 yds. He said I should post my pics. Do you guys play bow against each other and are you shooting better or worse then this at 30 yds? Be honest.HCH

What do your groups look like without the beer!! Nice shooting, but I do most of my practice solo. Although when my son is old enough, would love to shoot with him. Keeping my fingers crossed, he hasn't caught the bug yet. He's only seven.

Here is a Game Legacy45 and I play on weekends. We play horseshoes using a morrel block target and quarter size target stickers at 20 yards. First we shoot for pin, to see who goes first. Dead bull is 3 pts, half a sticker is 2 pts, closet to the pin is 1 pt. We play to 21. If you have a score close to 21, like 19pts. you have to either get 2 pts or 1 pt twice. Just like playing horseshoes but with arrows. Some games take 15 minutes and some can last a couple of hours.

I think a few of you have seen this pic, but this is a group that APAJaws (member here also) and I shot at 70 yards. The scary thing is that he only has one arm! We have access to a private 3D range, and will commonly play horse there. To play, one of us will start and pic a target and spot to shoot from, whoever misses the 10 or X ring (gotta call which before shooting) when the other doesn't gets a letter. First one to have horse spelled out loses. We have to guess yardage as well as execute a clean shot. Loser buys winner a 6 pack. [8D]

I don't have any pics from 30 yards, however Monday I am doing the final tuning steps to my FITA bow and will also be shooting a field course a well and will snap some pics of various groups to post up.

Your groups look great. They look better than mine and I usually do not have any beers in me.
Keep up the good shooting!!!!

I usually practice shooting immediately after I go for my evening jog. I've found that gets the adrenaline about as close to a deer situation as possible.

Here is a group from 60 yards with my 3d set up. (6x scope, 30" stabilizer)

The 2nd is a pic from 60 yards with my hunting setup (.019 pins, 2x lens, 5" stabilizer- 12" for this year)
