What does it mean to "Tie" a pig???
I never saw where Mez answered you on this one so I fugured I would. In the south it is quite common to hunt hogs with dogs. While a few people will try to shot the hog about 99% of us will catch the hog live (with the dogs help......), tie it up , and carry it out. It is a load of fun. It has its roots in the days when people would free range there stock.

Here are a couple of pics. The hog was caught alive but then stuck with a knife. My cousin was with me and he needed some meat.

I don't have any recent hunting pictures, but here is one from my Alaska fishing trip last year. Going back in a few weeks to restock the freezer with Salmon and Halibut, and then returningfor the archery opener in Utah.

OK here ya go....my ugly mug... my duck huntin buddy sitting next to me is dutchess... i can't shoot at the deer anymore because the arrows go straight through
