I think you picked a good time LA Bowhunter! The new moon is Monday so daytime deer activity should be excellent! I have seen bucks seeking/checking doe. Not really chasing real hot and heavy but the action should really get hot this week! Also, A buddy of mine shot an 8 point this morning. He said he saw that one plus a dandy 9 pt trailing some doe. He couldnt get a shot at the 9 but was excited with the 8 pointer! Good Luck!

I was out today and found a couple more scrapes and rubs that I didn't see last week. Haven't seen any chasing or checking, though. It's close!

Yeah you definetly picked a good time to come. yesterday i seen alot of fresh scrapes. Seen an 8 pt. at 3:00. later i seen a spike chasing a doe. My buddy seen a 7pt chase a doe in circles all afternoon. Rut is definetly starting to kick in.
