I do more ground hunting these days, but when I do climb, I stay low and thick. Usually under 15ft.

20-25' for myself. I have a few ladder stands that I put my wife or boy in and they are only 15'.

Are you measuring from head high or feet high while on stand? Mine vary from 10 up to 30(from my boots down) depending on the situation....LOL all I know is that the average stand I see in the deer woods of someone elses is under 15 feet up, I know my hunting terrain is not the same as everyones but I have a feeling some of you guys are answering from how high it apeares to be when you look strait down
