Well, I went for a nice little hike near to my place and found a nice patch of woods. it seems to be rather secluded and might do nicely for my own personal target range. Unfortunately, I cannot shoot in the park. I talked to one of the park rangers and they advised against it. But that is completely ok for me. this place i found isnt nearly as far and seems perfect for what i need.

Now, i just need to invest in a target / make a target.

There are parts of Dallas where you can shoot your bow in the streets, it is a welcome relief from the guns blazing at night... But I am sure Dallas is too far for you to drive anyway.. Welcome aboard.. Nice set up you have there.

Nice bow. Good luck with it.
Just remember when practicing shoot from different possitions.
Neeling, standing, sitting, and if you plan on using a tree stand
shoot from an elavated possition.
Keep practicing and good luck.
